Leschert & Associates is a Public Accounting firm located in Stettler, AB. We provide a full range of accounting, financial and taxation services to both individuals and businesses throughout Central Alberta.

We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper to join our firm in Stettler starting now!

This opportunity will be a permanent position subject to a 3-month probationary period.

The potential candidate will possess the following qualifications
• Strong Bookkeeping and computer skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced typing skills
• Experience using QuickBooks desktop software
• Organizational skills and ability to work independently in a multi-task environment
• Professionalism in dealing with clients
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The successful candidate will gain experience in the following areas:
• Bookkeeping
• T1 preparation & filing
• T4’s & T5’s
• GST
• Ad hoc taxation procedures

Future growth opportunities include:
• Compilation engagement preparation
• T2 preparation

This position is 35-40 hours per week, but we can be flexible for the right candidate; salary is dependent upon qualification and prior work experience. We are willing to train the right candidate.
